1985 to Present GILBERTSON DAVIS EMERSON LLP, Toronto, and predecessor firm. Civil litigation-insurance law. Partner. Wide range of experience in property and casualty litigation, including subrogation, environmental and products liability, professional negligence/errors and omissions litigation, arson, fraud and coverage disputes, construction, personal injury, catastrophe litigation, and ADR.

1982 to 1985 Ivanhoe Insurance Managers Limited/Northumberland General Insurance Company. Legal Counsel - Commercial Insurance, large loss exposures, including products and general liability.

1978 to 1982 Private Practice. Civil Litigation. Extensive involvement in products liability actions, floor and roof collapse cases, fire losses and personal injury litigation, performance and fidelity bond actions, and most aspects of insurance-related litigation.

1976 to 1977 Articled for Bassel, Sullivan, Lawson & Leake, Toronto, with emphasis on civil litigation and insurance-related litigation.
