Litigation Associate


Krystin is a curious, driven, and dedicated advocate whose interests span a broad range of litigation practice areas. Prior to joining Gilbertson Davis LLP, Krystin practised in the areas of civil and commercial litigation at a boutique law firm where she appeared successfully before the Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. Krystin completed her articles at a prominent insurance company where she gained valuable litigation experience.

Krystin obtained her law degree from the University of Kent, in Canterbury, England. While completing her law degree, Krystin received multiple awards for her successful participation in regional and national negotiation competitions and interned at a prominent law firm in the United Kingdom. As a law student, Krystin volunteered her time at the Kent Legal Clinic where she assisted refugees and asylum seekers in the wake of the Syrian civil war as well as helping other members of the community in various tort, contract, and landlord-tenant related disputes. Krystin held an executive position with the Canadian Law Society during this time and acted as a student mentor to other participants of negotiation competitions.

Prior to attending law school, Krystin obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Philosophy, East Asian Studies, and Religion from the University of Toronto. While completing her undergraduate degree. Krystin participated in a semester-long international exchange program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she studied Chinese and Hong Kong politics, religion, and culture.

Krystin holds a Master of Laws degree with a Concentration in Law and Social Justice from the University of Ottawa where she focused on intersectional discrimination.
