David Alderson is an experienced and qualified arbitrator. He is a full member of the ADR Institute of Ontario and is in its arbitrating Member’s Directory, as well being a member of the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society, where he appears on its Roster of Member Arbitrators.
He hold an LL.B (Osgoode), LL.M (Lond.) and Q.Arb (ADR Institute of Canada) and has practiced law in Ontario, Canada, London, England, Bermuda, Dubai, UAE, and is also admitted to practice in New York state.*
David been appointed as arbitrator by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to adjudicate commercial contract disputes.
While practicing here and abroad David has had considerable experience in the law pertaining to the operation of event cancellation clauses and the use of a contractual force majeure clause, as well as termination and cancelling clauses in commercial contracts. David has lengthy and in depth legal practice experience on the legal consequences of war (and other events) on commercial contracts.
